Atlantic Duct Cleaning Acquires A&K Hood Commercial Cleaning

We’re proud to announce that Atlantic Duct Cleaning has acquired A&K Hood Commercial Cleaning, a respected kitchen exhaust cleaning company serving the DMV area. Founded in 2021 by Ivan Peña, A&K built a strong reputation for reliability, technical skill, and outstanding customer service.

Ivan started his journey in this industry nearly a decade ago, learning the trade and eventually launching A&K as an owner-operator. Over the years, he grew the company into a trusted partner for over 200 commercial kitchens, including restaurants, schools, country clubs, and professional institutions.

At closing, Ivan and his wife shared their gratitude for the opportunity to partner with Vantage Service Partners and Atlantic Duct Cleaning, noting their appreciation for the care taken during the transition and the collaborative spirit that shaped the deal. For Ivan, this milestone marked the closing of a full-circle moment in his American dream: from technician to founder to a successful exit.

As part of this acquisition, we’ll begin integrating A&K’s customer base into our operations and expanding our kitchen hood cleaning capacity with an additional route.
